How old is this number?
Every other Farthest Frontier reference gives you a figure with no date on it. Some of those figures are four years old. This page states, for every part of this site, which game version the numbers describe and how we know.

The measured drift
34 of 55 values changedThere are exactly two public Farthest Frontier crop datasets. The first was dumped from game version 0.7.4 and posted to the community wiki on 2022-09-14; it has not been edited since. The second is printed by the Configure Crops mod, which states it targets version 0.9.7. Every crop-rotation planner we could find runs on the first.
We compared them field by field. 34 of 55 comparable values had changed (62%), one crop had been added (Hay), and the frost and heat model had been replaced outright — a "percent that dies" figure became a 0–10 tolerance scale. That is the drift across one Early Access step. The live game is three further versions past it, and no public dataset exists for any of them.

What we could not source
Stated plainly, because a reference that hides its gaps is not a reference. None of the following could be traced to a citable source for the current game version, so none of it is published here as fact — and no tool that depends on it exists on this site.
- The tech tree's prerequisite links. The table gives ranks, tiers and effects but no edges. The tree diagram exists as a screenshot whose nodes carry only icons and rank counters — no text labels — and the wiki holds no per-technology icon set to match them against. This is why the planner budgets but does not path.
- Production rates per worker. The input every "how many of these do I need" question needs. Not published anywhere we could find.
- Base disease and sanitation rates. The official guide's health page contains zero numbers. We have the technology modifiers, not the values they modify.
- Raider timing and scaling by year. The official combat page carries two numbers.
- Current crop values. See above.
If you have a citable source for any of these — a mod that prints vanilla defaults, a developer post, anything with a version attached — it belongs in the open, and this site will credit you for it.
The rules we hold ourselves to
- Every fact carries a source URL and the date that source was last changed.
- Facts only. Costs, ranks, tiers, sizes. We restate values as tables; we never reproduce anyone's article text.
- Nothing here came from playing the game or from opening its files.
- Where two sources disagree, we say so rather than picking the convenient one.
- When a number cannot be sourced, it is listed above as a gap instead of being estimated into a tool.
